Michael Kraft is the General Counsel of Kraft Kennedy. He founded the company with Peter Kennedy in 1988 and continues to provide guidance for the firm today, contributing his unique insight into the technology challenges that face businesses. An experienced lawyer, Michael was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York before joining Choate Doman Moore & Hahn, where he specialized in international litigation. He co-chaired the Technology and Privacy Committee, served on the Law Office Management Committee and was a member of the Board of the New York Chapter of the Association of  Corporate Counsel. He is a frequent speaker on technology and its consequences for the practice of law, both for law firms and corporate legal departments. Prior to founding Kraft Kennedy, Michael was the Executive Vice President at a financial printing firm. He is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School.

Marcus Bluestein is the Chief Information Officer at Kraft Kennedy. He manages the company’s technology infrastructure, drawing on more than twenty years’ experience designing and implementing information systems at law firms and other businesses as well as on his current research of emerging trends in enterprise technology. An expert in aligning business needs with IT, Marcus develops innovative ways to streamline work processes with technology. Marcus has served as interim IT director at large firms, designed and managed data centers, and redesigned document management system implementations. He specializes in helping businesses to develop, implement, and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Marcus joined Kraft Kennedy in 1992 after graduating from Hobart College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics.

Keith Kallen is the Chief Financial Officer at Kraft Kennedy. In addition to overseeing all financial operations of the company, including financial reporting, cash management, taxation, and budgeting, he also manages Kraft Kennedy’s lender relationships. Keith designs and deploys internal information systems to streamline processes and promote efficiency on Kraft Kennedy consulting engagements, ensuring that they are delivered on time and on budget. Prior to joining Kraft Kennedy, he founded the Insite Consulting Group, which assisted real estate and construction companies with the proper management of budgets and projects to ensure on-time and within-scope completion. Keith has also served as Manager in the Business Systems Consulting group of Deloitte and is a Certified Public Accountant. Keith graduated from Baruch College in New York with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Jude Travers-Frazier is the Chief Operating Officer at Kraft Kennedy. He develops and implements internal procedures, resources, and training to equip Kraft Kennedy consultants with the necessary knowledge and tools to complete projects successfully. As leader of the sales team, he provides it and the practice groups of the firm with operational alignment. Jude practiced as a lawyer before beginning his career in management and technology consulting. Today he has fifteen years of experience designing, building, and managing information infrastructures. In that time he has assisted businesses of all sizes with a wide variety of technological endeavors, including software selection and implementation, e-discovery and litigation preparedness reviews, and technology assessments and planning. He has helped law firms, financial service companies, and general counsel to understand and use their systems to meet their business goals. Prior to joining Kraft Kennedy, Jude was the IT Director for a 600-person organization in New York City, where he provided the vision and leadership for all aspects of its information systems. Jude has a J.D. from Washington & Lee University, School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from Pomona College.

Chris Owens is the Chief Technology Officer at Kraft Kennedy and leads the Enterprise Client Systems Group from Kraft Kennedy’s Houston office. With more than 15 years of technology consulting and management experience, Chris has consulted for organizations on all aspects of desktop design and management. He has managed the design, planning, and execution of desktop and remote access systems for Am Law 100 firms and other leading companies. Chris also implements server and storage consolidation, disaster recovery and business continuity, email messaging design and migration, document management, and thin-client architecture for organizations of various sizes. Chris has led discussions at industry events and presented at several ILTA conferences on these areas of technology. Before joining Kraft Kennedy, Chris worked on Compaq Computer Corporation’s Network Technology Development Team. Chris is a graduate of the University of Texas and holds several vendor certifications, including Microsoft MCSE, Citrix CCA and NetScaler, VMware VCP, Interwoven CSA, and Open Text CHP. Joe Hoegler is the Chief Technology Innovation Officer at Kraft Kennedy. He is responsible for all technology services delivery and solution development at the firm and manages all project practice groups. Joe also provides technical leadership and strategic guidance on engagements involving a broad range of law firm technologies and is responsible for directing technology strategy at the firm. He has led many projects for numerous members of the AmLaw 100 in addition to leading and coordinating day-to-day operations and projects for small and mid-sized clients. Joe previously led the firm’s Infrastructure and Enterprise Systems practice group and was responsible for several areas, including messaging systems and unified communications, directory services, server virtualization, and data center design. Among his certifications, Joe was one of the first people worldwide to achieve Microsoft Certified Solutions Master in Messaging and is one of only 22 people worldwide who hold this certification; he is a Microsoft Certified Master on Exchange 2010 (one of approximately 135 people worldwide) and a Microsoft Certified Master on Office 365: Exchange Online. Joe has presented on messaging and unified communications at multiple industry events, including Microsoft TechEd North America, Microsoft Exchange Conference, ILTA Conference, and ILTA roadshows. Joe graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

Pat Mansuy, PMP, leads the Project Management and Legal Process Management practice group. She is based in Kraft Kennedy’s Washington D.C. office. Pat has dedicated her career to crafting innovative technical solutions and delivering operational efficiencies to organizations. She has over twenty years of managerial experience in law firms and understands the culture of large firms as well as the particular challenges they face when embarking on big initiatives. Pat has extensive experience in strategic planning, business continuity planning and implementation, litigation support process design, and large data center design. She has overseen the successful completion of infrastructure renovations as well as messaging and desktop upgrades, managing internal and external resources, costs, and timelines. Pat has also provided interim CIO services for several leading firms. Prior to joining Kraft Kennedy, Pat was the Director of Computer Services Operations at Arnold & Porter LLP, an Am Law 100 firm in Washington, DC. Prior to that Pat was the Director of Information Systems at Collier Shannon & Scott, PLLC, a Washington law firm. She holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and is an active member of the Project Management Institute. She graduated from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business with a degree in Business Administration.

Lucas Messina leads the Support Practice Group and guides client teams at Kraft Kennedy. Lucas has expertise in a wide range of enterprise technologies, including content management systems, desktop design, and application builds. He has conducted Business Continuity impact analyses with organizations to help them define and reach their goals, and has assisted firms of all sizes with data center consolidation and disaster recovery. Lucas has also planned and executed comprehensive network upgrades including virtualization of servers, rebuilding of desktop imaging processes, and hardware replacement. He is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert in Windows Messaging and a Citrix Certified Administrator. Prior to joining Kraft Kennedy in 2003, Lucas was the network administrator for the Academic Computer Center of the Engineering Library of Cornell University, where he managed both desktop resources and backend infrastructure. Lucas graduated from Cornell University with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering. He is based in Kraft Kennedy’s New York headquarters.
