The cloud has been a hot topic for a few years and most firms are working to understand if/when infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), software-as-a-service (SaaS) and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solutions will fit into their technology plans. Recently, directory-as-a-service, identity-as-a-service and others have further expanded the cloud service landscape.

In this webinar, we will focus on arguably the most important application in a law firm — its messaging system. Microsoft Exchange is the de facto standard for on-premises messaging systems and Exchange Online, a component of Office 365, has become the standard for hosted messaging solutions. We’ll discuss licensing, pricing, integration, data privacy and sovereignty concerns, migration considerations and more to help you determine whether Exchange Online will meet the needs of your firm.

Speaker:
Joe Hoegler, a Practice Leader at Kraft & Kennedy, Inc., leads the company’s infrastructure and enterprise systems practice group. He is responsible for direction, delivery and thought leadership in the areas of messaging systems and unified communications, directory services, server virtualization, storage area networking, network infrastructure, high availability and disaster recovery, and data center design. Joe has led or advised over 100 projects on Exchange 2010/2013 for law firm clients totaling over 100,000 users, and has presented at numerous industry conferences.
