Time To Check Your UPS
With summer temperatures rising, now is a good time to check
your UPS to make sure it is healthy. Because of constant
recharging, after 3 years most batteries cannot sustain a charge
sufficient to allow your network to properly turn itself off in
the event of a power outage. Most UPS manufacturers have
replacement programs that allow you to either replace the
battery or trade-in your UPS at a reduced price.
American Power Conversion (APC) has an attractive program
that allows you to replace the existing battery for
approximately one third the cost of the original UPS, or
trade-in your existing UPS and receive a 40% discount. Don’t
delay, check when you bought your UPS or last upgraded its
battery. For information on any UPS purchased through KKL,

This Month's Answer
Outlook 2002 now stores and remembers recently used
e-mail addresses in the From, To, Cc, and Bcc fields
automatically. When you begin typing, the rest of the name will
be completed for you. If more than one name matches the first
three characters as you type, a drop down box of names will
appear for you to choose from. If a name continually appears in
the drop down box that you would like to delete (so there is
only one matching suggestion), simply use the arrow keys to
highlight the name and press delete. |
